1. What Looks Maxxing is

Looks Maxxing is a game with your own face. It lays a template, the classic golden ratio beauty grid, over your selfie, measures ratios such as length to width, the three vertical thirds, eye spacing and symmetry, shows them to you and offers small games on top. **It is entertainment and not a medical, psychological or aesthetic assessment.** It does not judge you as a person.

2. No assessment and no advice

The scores, charts and hints are calculations over your photo. They are not an assessment of your health, your worth or your attractiveness. Do not make decisions based on these numbers.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You own what you record. You are responsible for the photos you take, for the rights of the people in them, and for keeping your device secure. The app stores everything locally; if you lose the device or delete the app without a backup, the data is gone.

4. Free app and voluntary tips

The app is free. There is no subscription, no paywall and no lock. Everything is unlocked.

Optionally you can give a one time tip ("Buy us a coffee") through the App Store.
A tip is a consumable: it unlocks nothing and it is not restored.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Apple handles billing, refunds and disputes under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
We cannot refund a tip for you, because Apple is the seller; contact Apple for a refund.

5. Availability

We may update the app and may change features. We do not guarantee that any particular feature remains, except that looks you have already recorded stay readable on your device.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability, in particular under the German Product Liability Act, remains unaffected.

7. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence remains unaffected.
