The short version

Looks Maxxing is a game with your own face that runs entirely on your iPhone. We do not collect your data. There is no account, no server and no upload. Your photo and the numbers computed from it never leave your device unless you share them yourself.

What the app stores, and where

Your looks (photo, date, score, the measured ratios and notes) are stored in a file inside the app's own container on your device.
Your photos are stored as PNGs inside the app's own container on your device.
Your settings (appearance, left-handed layout, whether the first run was shown) are stored in the app's preferences on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app makes no network request, has no analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash reporter and no third-party SDK. Face analysis runs on device with Apple's Vision framework. The App Store privacy label is therefore Data Not Collected.

Tips

The app is free. An optional tip ("Buy us a coffee") goes through StoreKit and the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we receive only what Apple reports about the transaction, and no photo or measurement data. A tip unlocks nothing because everything is already unlocked.

The app writes a JSON export only when you tap it, and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice. We are not involved and receive no copy.

Retention and deletion

Your looks stay until you delete them. Settings, Delete all looks removes every entry and every photo on the device. Deleting the app deletes its container and everything in it. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on a server and no account to close.

Backups

If you back your iPhone up to iCloud or a computer, the app's container is included in that backup according to Apple's settings, which are outside our control.

Children

Looks Maxxing is not directed at children. It is a game with your own face and gives no advice about appearance, health or mental health.

Not an assessment

The scores and charts are pure geometry over your photo. **They are entertainment and not a medical, psychological or aesthetic assessment of you or any other person.** Do not make decisions based on these numbers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version ships with the app and its date is updated above.

Your rights

Because we process no personal data, there is no processing to access, correct, export or erase on our side. Under the GDPR you nevertheless have the right to contact us with any question, and to complain to your data protection authority.
