Looks Maxxing: Manual (draft)
A short manual, the same words the support page links to.
The idea in one paragraph
Looks Maxxing holds your face up to the template, the classic golden ratio beauty grid. You take a selfie, see how your ratios line up with it, and then play with it. Everything stays on your phone.
First run
On first launch the app explains in one line that the numbers are geometry and not a verdict. After that you can take a selfie right away or pick one from your library.
Scanning and the template
Tap the camera in the Scan tab. The template is fitted to your face and drawn as a dense mesh over your photo. You can show and hide it. Everything is computed on the device.
Ideal versus you
Below the photo you see the comparison line by line: length to width, the three vertical thirds, eye spacing and symmetry, each shown as ideal and measured, with a friendly hint. It is a picture of your geometry, not a diagnosis.
Your looks
Every scan is saved as a look. In History you see them by date, can open one, add notes, place a new scan next to it, or delete a look.
The games
- Mirror: find the mirrored side.
- Schablone Align: line the template up yourself.
- Looks Duel: two faces head to head.
- Golden Ratio Sniper: hit the golden ratio.
- Face Fortune: a fresh reading from your score, every day.
- Style Prescription: your face shape and how to play it.
Settings
In Settings you choose the appearance, turn on the left-handed layout for the bottom bar, export your looks as JSON, delete all looks, and find the legal links and support. You can also give a tip there.
Your privacy
There is no account and no server. Nothing you capture leaves the device unless you share it yourself. Delete all looks removes everything on the phone.
