Right of Withdrawal

Plateline · Last updated: 6 September 2026

*This is an English summary provided for convenience. The German text at https://mk-sd.com/plateline/withdrawal is the authoritative Widerrufsbelehrung; in case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.*

The short version

EU consumers have a statutory 14 day right to withdraw from a contract for digital content or a digital service, without giving a reason. For a purchase made through the App Store, that contract is with Apple, not with the operator of this app, because Apple is the seller for every purchase and subscription sold through the App Store.

Who to contact

Because Apple is the contracting party, withdrawal and refund requests are handled by Apple, primarily through https://reportaproblem.apple.com or the purchase history in your Apple Account settings.

The operator, Maximilian Kuchlbauer, is named here as a fallback addressee only, for the rare case where a withdrawal notice reaches the operator directly rather than Apple. See the Impressum at https://mk-sd.com/impressum for contact details.

Early end of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal ends early once performance of the contract has begun (for example, the Pro unlock activating immediately after purchase), provided the consumer expressly agreed to immediate performance and confirmed knowing that this agreement ends the right of withdrawal. In the App Store purchase flow, this consent is expressed through Apple's own purchase confirmation dialog.
