Privacy Policy

The short version

Plateline keeps your training on your device. There is no account, no server of ours, no analytics and no advertising. We cannot see what you lift, because none of it is ever sent to us.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone:

• Workouts: exercises, sets, weights, reps, durations, distances, set types and the times you completed them
• Routines you build
• Your exercise catalogue, including any movements you add
• Preferences: units, rest target, plate inventory, theme
• Bodyweight, if you choose to record it

This data is not transmitted to us and we have no means of reading it. It is included in your device backup if you back your iPhone up, under Apple's terms rather than ours.

iCloud

iCloud sync is not enabled in this version of the app. If a future version enables it, your data would be stored in your own private iCloud database, readable by your Apple Account and not by us, and this policy would be updated before that shipped.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app asks Apple whether a valid purchase exists and receives only that answer. Apple's own privacy policy governs the transaction.

What we do not do

• No analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers
• No third-party trackers
• No sale or sharing of personal data, because we hold none

Health data

This version does not read from or write to Apple Health.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Because your training data never leaves your device, you exercise those rights directly: edit or delete any workout in the app, or delete the app to remove all of it. We hold no copy to produce or erase.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone.
