1. What Paletteline is

Paletteline is a personal colour analysis for your iPhone. From a photo, seven questions or both, it estimates one of the twelve seasons of colour consulting, shows the four dimensions undertone, depth, clarity and contrast, builds your palette and lets you drape colours virtually on your own photo. Everything stays on your device.

Colour consulting is an unregulated tradition. **Paletteline is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice and does not diagnose anything.** The app makes no claim of scientific accuracy and states no accuracy percentage. Lighting, make-up, filters and screen settings change the result. No colour is forbidden; where a colour is difficult, the app says "harder near the face" and what helps instead.

2. No medical advice

The app's measured values, dimensions, seasons and palettes are calculations and recommendations over your own input and your photo. They are not an assessment of your health. Consult a qualified clinician with any health question.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You own what you bring into the app. You are responsible for having the right to use the photo you analyse and for respecting the rights of others in it. You are also responsible for keeping your device secure. The app stores everything locally; if you lose the device or delete the app without a backup, the analyses are gone.

4. Subscriptions

Paletteline Pro is sold through the App Store as an auto-renewing subscription:

Monthly at the price shown on the paywall in your storefront.
Yearly at the price shown on the paywall in your storefront.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions, or from the "Manage subscription" link on the paywall.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased, where a trial is offered. Where a trial is offered and your account is eligible, the paywall shows it.
The free plan includes the questionnaire with no limit, one photo analysis per calendar month, every saved analysis visible and correctable, the whole history, the basic palette, the colour of the day, the lesson basics, the game and CSV export. Pro adds unlimited photo analyses, all palette categories, the full Try-On studio with saved comparisons, the share cards, the PDF report, advanced lessons and the Face ID lock. A limit never hides, changes or degrades an analysis that was already saved.

The purchase is a contract with Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, which also govern billing, refunds and cancellation.

5. Availability

We may update the app and may change features. We do not guarantee that any particular feature remains, except that analyses you have already saved stay readable on your device.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability, in particular under the German Product Liability Act, remains unaffected.

7. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence remains unaffected.
